NNanoligent
Nanoligent is a Barcelona-based clinical-stage biotech developing nanotechnology-based cancer therapies, using protein engineering to build self-assembling, multivalent cytotoxic protein nanoparticles that selectively kill metastatic tumour cells while sparing healthy tissue. It is a spin-off of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and the Institut de Recerca de l'Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau; its lead candidate NNL1524 targets the CXCR4 receptor, overexpressed in more than 20 tumour types. In October 2025 it closed a €12M round led by Inveready (Inveready Biotech IV), bringing total funding to roughly €18M, and in July 2026 it was named a 'Catalonia Exponential Leader 2026' by ACCIÓ. It is headquartered in Bellaterra, Cerdanyola del Vallès, near Barcelona.
