Navarre clinical-stage biotech Medibiofarma, based at the CEIN incubator in Noáin and founded in 2016 by the team behind Palobiofarma, closed a €1.2 million capital increase — its third round — with Sodena (€300,000), Inveready and Fitalent (everis). Alongside the equity the company secured a €500,000 ENISA participative loan and a €570,000 CDTI Misiones grant to push three first-in-class candidates for cancer and neurodegenerative disease into clinical trials.
