MMedibiofarma
Medibiofarma is a Spanish clinical-stage biotechnology company founded in 2016 by a team of drug-discovery veterans linked to Palobiofarma, specialising in target-based medicinal chemistry and small molecules for high-unmet-need diseases. Its pipeline covers fibrotic Crohn's disease and inflammatory bowel disease (lead asset MBF-118, a PPARγ covalent partial agonist that completed a Phase IIa trial in 2025), plus oncology (T-cell infiltration) and neurodegeneration (e.g. Huntington's); asset MBF-015 received the European Commission Seal of Excellence and the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation's IBD Ventures programme has funded MBF-118 twice (2023 and August 2025). It is headquartered in Noáin/Cordovilla, Navarra, and is very small (~10 staff).
