Oriva Therapeutics
Oriva Therapeutics is a clinical-stage women's health biotechnology company based in Barcelona, developing first-in-class and best-in-class therapies for chronic, prevalent gynaecological diseases with high unmet need, with two advanced programmes in endometriosis and uterine fibroids. It launched in 2026 with an undisclosed pre-seed round from Asabys Partners' Sabadell Asabys II fund, built by spinning out two clinical-stage assets from Galician biotechs Oncostellae and Medibiofarma, and appointed Dr Agnès Arbat (ex-Oxolife co-founder/CEO, ex-Bayer, ex-Organon) as CEO and CMO in June 2026. The entity was created by Asabys around Julio Castro-Palomino's chemistry assets.
