Madrid-based medtech Insulcloud, maker of the Insulclock smart add-on for disposable insulin pens and the Insulcloud 360 platform, closed a €4 million financing round led by an unnamed global strategic partner in the diabetes sector (the investor's identity was withheld for confidentiality). The money is earmarked for clinical trials, MDR certification and FDA approval, and for scaling real-time monitoring of insulin dosing, glucose, activity and diet straight into patients' medical records.
