The Institut Català de Finances, through its IFEM Innovació line, granted Barcelona insurtech Weecover a €200,000 participative loan with no equity attached. The financing complements the equity round Weecover closed at the end of 2021 with Nauta Capital as lead; Weecover's plug-and-play platform embeds insurance products into merchants' online and offline sales flows.
