Seabery, whose Soldamatic augmented-reality simulator trains welders in more than 80 countries for clients including Siemens, Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen, took an undisclosed minority investment from Seaya's sustainability fund Andromeda and the Spain Oman Private Equity Fund (SOPEF), managed by MCH Private Equity. The money is earmarked for expansion in Asia-Pacific and new training applications such as industrial painting; no amount or venture stage was disclosed.
