Barcelona biotech Innerva Pharmaceuticals, founded in 2022, raised €2.3M in an early-stage round led by Inveready through its Inveready Biotech III fund. The money will develop a first-in-class eye drop for ocular pain linked to dry eye disease, which works by blocking the PIEZO2 channel. The founders and business angels who had backed AVX Pharma also invested. The sources give no series label, so it is classed here as Seed.
