Spanish biotech Tetraneuron closed a financing round of €4.9M (above its €4.6M target, widely reported as 'reaching €5M') to take its E2F4DN gene therapy for Alzheimer's into clinical development and file a Clinical Trial Application in Europe. The round was backed mainly by existing investors — domestic family offices and biotech/health business angels — with German fund GIMIC Ventures joining as a new institutional investor; no single lead was named.
