Biome Makers was founded by Spaniards Adrián Ferrero and Alberto Acedo and runs its EU lab and team in Valladolid, Spain, with its HQ in California. It raised a $15M Series B to expand its BeCrop soil-biology analysis platform and its Gheom product-assessment programme worldwide. Spanish press (Dealflow, El Referente) covered it as a Spanish-founded start-up.
