Flywire, the international payments company founded by Valencian Iker Marcaide with a large Valencia office, raised a $120M Series E led by Goldman Sachs. The round valued it above $1B, and El Referente counts it as a Spanish unicorn. It announced the acquisition of healthcare payments platform Simplee at the same time.
