Universal DX (Universal Diagnostics) — Debt · €20M

The European Investment Bank signed a €20M venture-debt loan, backed by the InvestEU guarantee, with Seville-based liquid-biopsy company Universal DX. The financing supports commercialisation of Signal-C for colorectal cancer screening, development of the Signal-Li and Signal-Lu liver and lung tests, and a US clinical trial for FDA approval. This is a loan rather than an equity round.
