The Chinese drugmaker SciClone Pharmaceuticals became a shareholder in AbilityPharma with a $3M commitment: $1M invested immediately and $2M tied to development milestones. It was part of the €6.1M AbilityPharma raised in the second half of 2020, which also included a €2M Capital Cell crowdfunding, to develop ABTL0812 against pancreatic cancer.
