Biointaxis closed an €880K round through the Capital Cell equity crowdfunding platform, which opened in June 2021, at a €4M pre-money valuation. The money funds biodistribution and safety studies of BTX-101 in non-human primates. Investors included GP Pharm and its president Antonio Parente, two Catalan family offices, and Nara, whose own post from March 2022 says it led the investment. Earlier the company had about €2M in non-dilutive support from CDTI (Neotec) and CaixaImpulse / Caixa Capital Risc.
