Samaipata's portfolio page lists its investment in Fly-Fut as made in 2020, with €2M raised. Only the year is known, so the date is filed as 2020-01. No press release naming a lead or other participants was found. By August 2021 the company said it had raised €3.5M in total since 2017, at a €12.6M valuation. Business angels on the cap table include Félix Ruiz, Marc Giacopazzi, Enrique Pérez-Pla, Vicente Boluda Jr., Álvaro Llamas and Iván López Ríos. Former footballers Fernando Hierro (Sept 2021) and Iker Casillas, through SportBoost (Sept 2021), later became shareholders for undisclosed amounts, and Fly-Fut separately received a €255K CDTI Cervera grant.
