Foodinthebox raised €26,570 in an equity crowdfunding round on Crowdcube Spain, above its €25,000 target (which was offered for 8.33% of the company). On 26 March 2015 the round was reported as one of the first six successfully funded campaigns on Crowdcube Spain. Company builder Sonar Ventures, which co-launched the start-up, had separately made a direct investment it valued at €35,000. A 2021 Fellow Funders equity crowdfunding campaign (target €400K, extendable to €500K) was opened, but no close was ever reported, so it is left out.
