Idealista — Seed

Caixa Catalunya joined as Idealista's second institutional shareholder in 2001, as part of the founders' plan to bring in a new investor each year. Caixa Catalunya and BBK also gave the company a participative loan the year before it turned profitable. The amount is not disclosed and only the year is known. In 2005 Tiger Global Management bought Caixa Catalunya's stake, which was a secondary share sale and not new money.
