In October 2020 Medicsen raised €600K from investment funds set up by Spanish entrepreneurs, directors of multinational pharmaceutical companies investing personally, and a family office from northern Spain. None of these investors is named. PlantaDoce (Feb 2022) says an international fund came into the capital and public aid took the total to about €1M, which paid for the preclinical phase of the Smartpatch. By then Medicsen had raised more than €1.5M since it was founded.
