Monkey Markets moved to Lugo and joined the Lugo Transforma fund, which Torsa Capital manages for Lugo City Council with private co-investors. The fund put in €50K up front, with a further €50K ('follow on') if the company hits set milestones. The money was earmarked for product development, marketing and hiring. No second tranche and no other round has been reported. In 2021 the founders said they were working on a round, but no close was ever reported.
