Torsa Capital
Torsa Capital is a Gijón-based independent venture capital management company, founded in 2006 and registered with the CNMV as an SGEIC. It backs early-stage and expanding Spanish SMEs with scalable, digitalisation-driven business models and proven traction, frequently co-investing alongside other funds, with a generalist approach and a preference for technology, health, education, retail, food, mobility and industry. The firm manages four vehicles totalling around €38M: Prince Capital Partners (2008, €20M), Gijón Invierte I (2010, €6M, created with the City of Gijón), Neocapital (2017, €9M, with ICO's Fond-ICO Global) and Ultramar (2019, €3.3M). It has completed more than 60 investments, with a portfolio that includes Hosco, Stayforlong, Docuten, LISA Seguros, Mollitiam Industries, Box2box and Brickbro, and exits from Milbby and Singularu.
