HHimikode Tech
Himikode Tech is a Galician deeptech/foodtech startup founded in 2019 that combines IoT hardware, AI/Edge ML, Big Data and SaaS to digitise physical equipment and processes, mainly for the coffee and HORECA industry. Its flagship product, hkoffee®, is a plug-and-play device plus software platform that turns conventional professional coffee machines and grinders into connected devices, giving roasters, distributors and hospitality chains real-time data on consumption, extraction quality, incidents and preventive maintenance. It holds Spain's 'PYME Innovadora' seal, raised a €300k equity round from the municipal fund Lugo Transforma in July 2024 (part of ~€845k in public funding that year), exhibited at Host Milano 2025, and plans expansion into Portugal, France and Italy before 2027. It is headquartered in Lugo, Galicia.
