Palobiofarma, then based at the Barcelona Science Park, raised €1M from Inveready Seed Capital (its second investment in the company) and Fitalent (its first), plus a participative loan from Genoma España. The money funds Phase I trials for its Parkinson's and asthma candidates. Inveready first invested at seed stage around 2008, but that round's amount and date were never disclosed. The company also had public funding: an Innocash grant in 2010 and the Innpacto programme in 2011.
