SSparc Foundry — Unstaged equity · approximately €39.2M
Sparc Foundry closed a capital increase to fund its III-V photonic chip fab in Vigo. Indra Group put in €20M for a 37% stake and became the largest shareholder. The state's SETT (Sociedad Española para la Transformación Tecnológica, under PERTE Chip) put in €17.2M for 31.8%, which Evertiq reports as 43.9% of the capital increase. That makes the whole round about €39.2M, a figure worked out from those numbers rather than reported directly. Vigo Activo, the Vigo Free Trade Zone's venture capital firm, also took part and holds about 8%; later coverage says it contributed €3M. The deal values the company at about €54M. Separately from this round, the project later received about €12M in public grants, including a €6.25M Regional Incentives grant in July 2026. With loans included, the project's total funding reached €110M by August 2026.
