SpliceBio — Seed

The company was called ProteoDesign when it announced this round, and it renamed itself Splice Bio at the same time. Ysios Capital led the round, Asabys Partners joined through its Sabadell Asabys fund, and existing shareholder Caixa Capital Risc also backed it. The amount was not disclosed, and later coverage calls it the 2020 seed round. Separately, the company won Torres Quevedo grants in October 2024; those are grants, not a funding round.
