Aortyx raised a €13.8M Series A co-led by Ship2B Ventures (through its BSocial Impact Fund, backed by Banco Sabadell, the EIF and AXIS) and Clave Capital (through its Clave Innohealth vehicle, supported by CDTI-Innvierte), with Nara Capital, the EIC Fund, CDTI's SICC Innvierte, business angels and one of the world's leading aortic device manufacturers also participating. The capital takes its bioresorbable, spider-silk-inspired vascular patch for aortic dissection into first-in-human clinical trials; the round had two co-leads, so no single lead is recorded.
