Sweanty, a spin-off of CSIC's IMB-CNM, closed a €180,000 round in November 2023. It used the money to hire in communications and manufacturing and to add a doctor and a nutritionist ahead of launching its SweaTracker sweat patch in 2024. No investors were named. The company has also had public money (ENISA, a CDTI project co-funded by Next Generation EU) and won the Allianz Startup Challenge by Barça Innovation Hub and Allianz, but none of these were announced as a funding round.
