WtEnergy — Seed

Cemex, through Cemex Ventures, and the construction group Copisa invested in WtEnergy in a capital increase of undisclosed size, to scale its gasification technology and speed up its international growth. Both companies also use its syngas in their own operations. Dealroom lists it as a seed round, and no lead investor was named. In 2023 WtEnergy and Cemex won a €4.4M EU Innovation Fund grant for the Alicante cement plant, which is a grant, not a round.
