WtEnergy (Waste to Energy Advanced Solutions) is a Barcelona-based cleantech company that converts non-recyclable industrial waste and biomass into syngas, clean hydrogen and other bioproducts using its proprietary Advanced Thermochemical Conversion Process (ATCP) gasification technology, marketed as 'Clyngas'. Founded in 2017 by Andrés Ponce, it sells turnkey gasification plants to heat- and power-intensive industries (cement, chemical, food, textile, pharma, waste management) across Europe, LATAM and Asia, and is leading a ~€10M waste-to-hydrogen project at Cemex's Alcanar plant in Spain. In February 2026 it closed a €10 million round led by SC Net Zero Ventures (Suma Capital) with Shell Ventures and existing investor Cemex Ventures; it has also won EU Innovation Fund (€4.4M) and Horizon Europe HYIELD (€10M) grants.
