Serena (later Serena Care), the Brazilian lifestyle-medicine healthtech co-founded by Giovanna Zattar and Tuly Iavorsky, received more than R$3M from a group of private angel investors. The investors were not named. Serena Labs, now led by Iavorsky as CEO, grew out of this Brazilian business, though PitchBook lists Serena Care as having closed in November 2025. The stage is inferred from the round size and the angel-only investors. PitchBook's '$6.5M angel round, 6 Dec 2021' looks like the same deal with the currency mixed up.
