Serena Labs is a Barcelona-based healthtech company that builds AI agents for patient and customer engagement, used by health insurers, pharmaceutical companies, hospitals and other healthcare providers. Its platform combines digital engagement interfaces, structured data capture and AI-driven analytics. It supports use cases such as digital onboarding, personalised screenings, patient support programmes, care navigation, risk stratification and population health intelligence. The company grew out of Serena, a healthtech that Tuly Iavorsky co-founded in São Paulo in 2020. It has run large-scale deployments in Latin America serving more than 1.5 million patients, and its European headquarters has been at the Barcelona Health Hub since January 2026. Serena raised a R$3 million pre-seed round from angel investors and is backed by Village Capital. Serena Labs won the Next Generation Digital Health Award at the 2026 Health Revolution Congress in Barcelona.
