Valencia-based HR software company Sesame signed an agreement with BBVA Spark for up to €50 million through a new equity-free hybrid growth instrument positioned as an alternative to venture debt and equity. Sesame, which serves over 15,000 companies and has more than €20M in ARR, will use the facility to expand into Italy, Portugal, France and Germany while investing in AI product development; no lead investor applies as BBVA Spark is the sole financier.
