Mediterranean Algae, which produces algae-based cosmetic ingredients and food supplements and develops marine bioremediation services, closed its second seed round at over €1 million through the Startupxplore equity crowdfunding platform, passing 100% of its target in under 24 hours. Backers were the platform's investor base plus unnamed private investors and public financing instruments.
