Helenis Biocosmetics, an Elche-based biocosmetics startup developing skin-microbiome products with natural pre- and postbiotics, closed a €120,000 first round backed by business angels linked to Waterhole Ventures (José María Ballester, Lorena Ballester and Francisco García Cortés) and the Miguel Hernández University Science Park. The company emerged as a winner of the 13th UMH Startup Marathon.
