SUSPOL, a University of Alcalá spin-off led by chemist Miguel Palenzuela, received a €100,000 investment from deep-tech manager Grow Venture Partners after winning its getIMPULSE acceleration programme. The money supports scaling its patented, lower-cost production methods for bio-based and biodegradable plastics, including its FLEXsus material; the announcement did not label the investment with a formal stage.
