ZEN Yachts — Series A · €5.5M

Barcelona-headquartered ZEN Yachts, builder of the solar-electric ZEN50 catamaran, closed a €5.5 million (about $5.9 million) Series A funded entirely by Ocean Zero, a fund specialised in decarbonising sea, river and ocean transport. The company said the first four production slots for the ZEN50 had already been reserved.
