ZEN Yachts (legally Zero Emission Nautic Ltd) is a Barcelona-based boatbuilder that designs and manufactures fully energy-self-sufficient, zero-emission yachts, combining solar power with rigid wingsail propulsion for effectively unlimited range. Its flagship ZEN50 is a ~50ft solar-electric carbon catamaran (2 x 50kW motors, 160 kWh LFP battery pack, ~$1.7M price point) built in Spain, and it won the 2023 Gustave Trouvé Award for excellence in electric boats. The company is Series A stage, funded entirely by marine-decarbonisation investor Ocean Zero LLC.
