Madrid-based TOTEEMI, an app that gamifies amateur running and cycling by letting athletes conquer real-world territories with their Strava-tracked activity, closed a €2.5M seed round after reaching 50,000 users in its first year. No lead investor was disclosed; family business group Asentis is the reference shareholder and Real Madrid footballer Dani Carvajal took part alongside other private investors, with the funds earmarked for international expansion to Brazil and the US ahead of a planned Series A.
