Voovio Technologies builds simulation and 'Enhanced Reality' software for the process industry, creating interactive digital replicas of plants that let refineries and chemical companies train operators and rehearse standard operating procedures before doing them in the field. Founded in 2008, it serves large industrial customers including BASF, DuPont, Chevron Phillips, Suncor and Total, and has raised roughly $24.6M in total, led by a $18M growth investment from Moira Capital Partners in 2020 plus follow-on funding from CDTI Innovación's Innvierte programme. It also runs an engineering office in Silicon Valley.
