Aislamientos Suaval
Aislamientos Suaval was a Spanish industrial contractor (founded 1978, HQ Carreño, Asturias) providing thermal/acoustic insulation, scaffolding, polyurethane foam application and passive fire protection for energy plants (thermosolar/CSP, nuclear, biomass, combined cycle, LNG, refineries). It was a family-owned company (Suárez-Valdés family) backed at various points by PE/mezzanine investors (Demeter Partners, Axis Participaciones, later Oquendo Capital), not a VC-backed tech startup. It entered insolvency proceedings (concurso de acreedores) in 2023 and its productive units (including Wanner Technical Insulation) were absorbed into German group Kaefer in Feb 2024.
