Ringteacher is a Spanish edtech company that runs an online English academy built around short one-to-one conversation classes (25 minutes) delivered by native teachers over phone and video call, with post-class reports, phonetic corrections and AI-assisted practice between sessions. It sells to individual learners and to companies via a corporate training arm, and reports roughly 1,200 active students, 6,000+ classes a month and around €600k in annual revenue, with in-house full-time teachers (largely based in the Philippines) rather than freelancers. Founded by serial entrepreneur David Bastida (previously Babelia, Zacatrus, Yorespondo), it was a SeedRocket Campus finalist in 2018 and raised a small seed round led by Easo Ventures plus a €120k ENISA loan.
