MMarketpay
Marketpay is a Barcelona-based fintech that provides payment infrastructure via a RESTful API, covering e-wallets, escrow payments, split payments, PayByLink and blockchain-based flows for marketplaces, crowdfunding platforms and other multi-party digital businesses. Operated by Socialpay, S.L. (founded in Barcelona in 2016, which also runs the Truust.io and Lemonpay brands), it acts as a ledger and reconciliation layer between platform accounting and funds accounts, and works under European and Latin American payments regulation. It raised roughly €1M in March 2018 in a round in which CaixaBank took about 20% via Comercia Global Payments, alongside Inveready, IESE's Finaves and business angels; clients have included Vibbo (Schibsted), Circulantis and Capital Cell.
