CCaixaBank
CaixaBank is a Valencia-headquartered Spanish bank that works with the innovation economy through CaixaBank DayOne, its division for technology companies, start-ups, scale-ups and their investors. DayOne launched in 2017 and has more than 5,500 clients. In December 2024 it launched a venture debt vehicle with an initial allocation of €150M for tech scale-ups and established start-ups in Spain and Portugal. The vehicle writes bilateral or syndicated loans of €1–15M with terms of up to 48 months, up to 18 months of grace and an option to take equity of up to 30% of the outstanding debt. It had deployed €30M across seven deals by early 2026.
