Jetnet
Jetnet is a Spanish telecommunications operator founded in 2002 in Granada that builds and operates its own fiber-optic and WiMax network to bring fiber internet, mobile, fixed telephony and TV services to underserved rural municipalities in Eastern Andalusia (Granada, Almería, Málaga), most with fewer than 3,000 residents. It serves roughly 12,000-30,000 rural access points, is 100% Spanish-owned, and received a €2.3M minority-stake investment from social-impact fund Global Social Impact Investments in 2023 to accelerate rural fiber rollout toward nearly 200,000 homes/businesses.
