Global Social Impact Investments (GSI) is a Madrid-based impact investment fund manager authorized by Spain's CNMV, founded in 2018 by María Ángeles León and Arturo García Alonso. It manages two vehicles — GSIF Africa (private credit, ~€60M) and GSIF Spain (growth equity, ~€63M) — backing profitable, growth-stage companies in agriculture, climate, healthcare and circular economy that improve livelihoods for vulnerable communities in Spain and Sub-Saharan Africa. Its funds have driven an average 39% income increase for beneficiary communities and created nearly 3,000 jobs.
