Linkener is a Spanish energy-management technology company whose SaaS platform (including its Link·IA AI advisor) uses smart meters, IoT telemetry, Datadis integration and big data to monitor commercial and industrial electricity consumption in real time, validate invoices, detect billing errors and optimise contracted power — plus solar PV and battery installations. It serves 1,900-4,000+ business customers across Spain, Portugal and Italy (supermarkets, hotels, HORECA, retail, industry, public administration), manages ~1.5-1.8 TWh of energy and claims €14-15M in annual client savings, with revenue expected to exceed €6M in 2025. Linkener is headquartered in Valencia (GoHub building); it grew out of Sergio Ferrer's earlier engineering firm Enerlin Ingenieros S.L. (incorporated 2011) and was majority-acquired in 2019 by Valencian utility group Global Omnium / GoHub Ventures, which took ~80% for €1.9M, so it now operates as a corporate-backed company rather than a conventional VC-funded startup; current CEO José Ignacio Ruiz was brought in by GoHub and is not a founder.
