Optimitive is a Spanish industrial AI company founded in 2008 in Vitoria-Gasteiz whose OPTIBAT platform applies closed-loop machine learning and digital twins to optimise production processes in real time for energy-intensive industries such as cement, chemicals, petrochemicals, metals and pulp & paper. It claims up to 10% production increases, ~6% energy reduction and 7% raw material savings across 75+ optimised plants, and has grown to 40+ staff with operations in the US, Mexico, India, Turkey, Egypt and Europe. In February 2026 it completed a €5M Series A (Suma Capital's SC Climate Tech Ventures fund alongside strategic co-investors Cemex Ventures and TITAN Cement Group) and launched OPTIBAT 7.
