Electraqua (legally Electraqua Tech S.L.) is a Barcelona-based deep-tech spin-off of the University of Barcelona that develops a patented electrochemical reactor generating hydrogen peroxide in situ to eliminate organic micropollutants from industrial wastewater, targeting the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and agribusiness sectors. Founded from research at the UB's LEMMA laboratory, it is an early-stage company backed by public grants (AGAUR, NEOTEC) and a first institutional VC investment from the Fons FITA (managed by Grow Venture Partners) to develop its first commercial product with a pharma partner.
