YYK-Robotics
YK-Robotics develops YK-Platform, hardware-agnostic industrial automation software that acts as the brain of a robotic cell, letting manufacturers, system integrators and machine builders design, program, deploy, operate and monitor cells in natural language across robot brands such as KUKA, FANUC, ABB, Universal Robots, Comau, Kawasaki and Estun. Alongside software licences, the company delivers turnkey robotic cells, including on a robotics-as-a-service basis, for applications such as palletizing, packaging, assembly, gluing, bin picking and machine tending in food, chemicals, furniture, wood, electrical components and sheet-metal machinery. Customers include Italian bending-machine maker Schiavi Macchine International, and its deployments report up to 80% faster cell commissioning and around 20% higher output. Founded in Florence in 2020 by Joan Ortega Alcaide and Marco Guadagni, the company operates from Barcelona and Florence and in October 2026 closed a €1 million seed round co-led by Draper B1 and First Drop, with BStartup (Banco Sabadell), Coben Ventures, Elephant Capital and Plug and Play participating.
