Voltrac is a Spanish deep-tech robotics company building Thor, an all-electric, driverless unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) designed as a modular, software-defined replacement for the conventional tractor — four in-wheel motors, no transmission, swappable batteries, ~150 HP and 200 kWh, compatible with standard farming implements. Founded in 2024 by Tom Hubregtsen (ex-Google X, IBM, BMW, Extropic) and Fran Infante Aguirre (ex-Destinus, Volocopter), it targets specialty-crop farms facing labour shortages (vineyards, olive groves, citrus) plus dual-use frontline/defence logistics. It raised a €2M pre-seed in June 2025 and a €7M seed led by Extantia in November 2025, and is scaling to 100 units per year in 2026. It is headquartered in Valencia (Paterna).
