Kapia (legal entity Pleiful AI SL, and originally launched under the brand Pleiful) is a Madrid-based AI startup founded in 2025 by ex-Glovo and ex-Evercore operators. It builds a 'Company Brain': it connects to a company's existing systems (SAP, Salesforce, Zendesk and similar), maps the operational knowledge, rules and exceptions the business actually runs on, and compiles that into AI agents, automations and custom software for finance, customer support and back-office processes. The team originally sold conversational/voice AI agents for customer service as Pleiful, then pivoted to serving 'real economy' enterprises (factories, distributors, service groups); it is a ~6-8 person team that closed a first institutional round with Lanai and Bynd plus angels from Glovo, Embat and Capchase, and was reported in 2026 to be preparing a Series A.
